Tangless inserts are made by processing rhombic materials into a coil shape. When inserted for reinforcing female threads, they are fixed to the base material through the action of springback. By using them in base materials with weak strength, such as soft metals, cast iron, and resin, you can achieve reliable and strong thread fastening.

With Advantex, insertion and removal are possible without an insertion tang by using specialized tools. They do not damage the female threads or inserts during removal. They can be inserted from either direction without orientation. There is no need for breaking off the insertion tang, searching for the broken tang, or gauge checking after insertion, significantly reducing work time.
